Now Available: Pimax Play EVO

Please check your inbox/chatbox. I’ve sent you an internal build that I’d like you to test.

DO NOT USE EVO.. I spent a week unloading EVO, MSFS 20 & 24. Reloading to include Pimax Play from May 26 as well and trying to get a system to work the way it did before I loaded the nightmare from Pimax. It even caused issues with my MicroOled . Atleast 20 hrs debugging this travesty. Still cannot get Roll controlled on MSFS 24. Do not hesitate to ask Google for help. Provides alot of good suggestions. They literally shut down the entire public from this one.. Best of luck people.

I’m experiencing constant blackouts in my Dream Air SLAM. Is there a build that resolves this?

Folks with AMD CPUs experience stuttering please review this topic in r/AMDHelp as it might help

I’m afraid this will need to be diagnosed by our technical team. It’s likely that either the cable or the headset may need to be replaced.

This help topic may help. Though as Calvin said it may require a replacement.

Unfortunately, it didn’t help at all.

Then with all that eliminates sounds like a defective headset.

I really like the new evo software, its definitely a leap forward but still in beta. My question or request is can I or can pimax add the ability to adjust the sensitivity of the motion compensation so my device doesn’t transfer vibrations into the head tracking? I have my controller strapped to a small pillow strapped to my simulator which helps a lot but doesn’t eliminate all vibrations transferred to the controller. The motion compensation works fantastic but a little to sensitive, need a slider for adjustment please

I am still interested in trying any latest internal build to see whether it solves the mouse stuttering on my setup, I ve sent you a DM but no reply as of yet. Or is everything withdrawn until further testing?
What I have found so far is that the stuttering will only manifest if the Dream Air is connected to a CPU-direct USB port when running EVO. When plugging it in a chipset port, keyboard and mouse remain smooth. That is on a X870e motherboard. For your and the engineers’ information.

as far as the slow mouse movement I have the lighthouse faceplate on my super and when I turn on a controller then the problem with the mouse starts, if I turn it off usually it goes back to normal. I’ve tried this many times and its definitely when I turn on the controller. I don’t remember it was the same on the inside out tracking.

Please kindly check the DM. Thank you.

Let me forward this to the EVO team.

Even with the internal build?

In my case, the internal build solved the problem and everything is smooth again. Exhaustively tested.

Does EVO update the Dream Air SLAM to firmware v1.0.4? Or is that a SE only thing?
