I also signed up over week ago but still haven’t received anything. But after reading about all the problems, I’m not anymore interested in trying it.

Buggy and lacking previous functions:

  • No per-eye IPD adjustment. You MUST switch to the legacy UI to do the adjustment.
  • Dream Air SLAM fall back and cannot be woke up
  • Auto-restart with system fail. Manually launch the app, shows PiService not launched. Need to go to services.msc to restart pimax service.
  • Cannot switch to SteamVR runtime, just because the Steam does not installed in the C drive default path. So stupid here.

Yes, I have the exact same mouse stutter and switch to Classic to eliminate it. (Pimax Crystal Super 50PPD)

Yes, there is a 1.3.0 beta version available. However, the distortion profile has not been fully optimized yet.

我来反馈三个问题 ： 基站版air 使用evo 和最新的pimax play 都会出现卡顿，丢失定位的情况，我连续试了三次，今天看到又有新版本pp出现，我更新了一下，还没有发现丢失定位卡顿的情况。 但是随着我又把EVO 安装上，鼠标又开始出现和之前两次安装一样的 卡顿情况，每两秒一次大概。 第三个问题是evo的屏幕录制功能，画面实在是太过奇怪的比例，我已经在il2 korea里面将双眼画面输出成单一画面，steam录制功能已经可以录制。 我看到你们也是il2 korea的合作方，是否可以针对该游戏进行一下录制方面的改进。录像功能是vr非常重要的功能。 最后补充一些要求，是否可以将air的物理音量按键改为mic静音物理功能，这个可能比音量调节对于使用者来说更有需求。 谢谢

视频录制这个我反馈给研发，下个版本会有两个ratio

所以最新的2.0.2 版本不会出现定位丢失卡顿问题，对吧？

If you’re experiencing the mouse stuttering issue while using the Pimax EVO, please send me a DM. I have an internal build that may address the problem, and I’d appreciate it if you could help test it.

Is there a Pimax Play 2.02 available?? Only under EVO??
On your website there is only 2.01 downloadable and I didn´t received a notification in PimaxPlay even if I checked the Beta toggle

I cannot use the Screen Recording feature, I have the message “GPU does not support Encoding” - I have a 5070Ti. I read somewhere that EVO might be looking at the iGPU instead of the dedicated GPU. If this is the case, will this be patched soon?

Or, is there some way to get to use the Screen Recording feature?

Pimax Play 2.0.2 is currently being rolled out in batches. If no major issues arise, the public release should be available later this week.

So far, the update has been rolled out to approximately 1,500 users.
