Let me check with the team. I recently received the revised patch for internal testing, and the developers are currently debugging the known issues that were identified.
@PimaxQuorra I’m not sure if this is already identified.
But specific games settings are randomly modified.
For exemple for Assetto Corsa Evo I apply the specific setting : image quality : 0.7 and quadview off but randomy it goes to image quality : auto and quadview : balance.
I don’t know why it chooses each time this specific setting that I don’t apply for any other game.
But it’s quite anyonying
I think this is a known issue. You are not alone as this has been happening to a few users: it just did it again for me on DCS, and I’d been struggling to work out why my performance had dropped as I usually keep QV off (while using the Mbuccia/Tallymouse QV) and image quality high. And, yes, annoying.
What if you run Pimax Play as administrator? Also, make sure to launch the game directly from Pimax Play.
Will a future update enable my controllers and lighthouses? I have the PCL and can only use inside out which means any game that doesn’t require a controller. Also, the pimax room? What is it’s purpose and can it be bypassed? It looks cool but doesn’t serve any purpose.
You need the Lighthouse FP. Otherwise you need dongles and use something like Open space Calibrator.
Did you buy the PCL sim edition they had at one time? As you should otherwise have the inside out ring controllers for SLAM.
Try this patch
You will need the Lighthouse faceplate.
For the Pimax room, you can disable it in Pimax Play.
Device Settings - General - Home (Off)
Then I will never use 2.0. My lighthouses and controllers work fine with version 1.43. I have no plans on investing any more money on Pimax devices.
Hello, I was on firmware 2.0 on 8KX, so on this firmware such problems as parallel projection on HL Alex do not need to be turned on, Arizona 2 had a problem that you were turned 180 degrees when you turn your body in the room, and on 2.0 it all disappeared and I was very happy ))) except for the stretched picture horizontally, please fix it for 8KX.
Because I switched to 1.44 and all these problems appeared ((( but the image was fixed FOV. Thank you.
If you’re referring to the software, version 2.0 works just like v1.43.
It allows you to switch to Lighthouse tracking, as long as you have the faceplate installed.
Noted.
The picture got stretched?
So in 2.0 the picture stretched ((( horizontally, and vertically decreased by 30% (6800-2500 pixels approximately) and I somehow couldn’t fix it in 2.0.
But I liked that the problems that I wrote about in the post above disappeared.
I switched to 1.44 and the picture immediately corrected itself to my usual (favorite 4800-3800 pixels)
But the old problems that I described in the post above appeared (((
Noted. Let me forward this to the dev.
hi, how i get this update 2.0?
thx
I’d like to get the latest 2.0 version as I could not find a download for it. If it is currently being updated then when is it expected to be available for download again? Thanks.
Hello ![]()
Please add World Scale.
Thank you.
Cheers,
Seb
public beta channel enabled for weeks but no 2.0, is it that slow of a rollout?
According to the latest update from our dev team, version 2.0 is estimated to be released in early June.
I’m currently waiting for them to provide the changelog and the latest debugging progress.
Hello, I’m unable to download version 2. I have a high-performance headset, a PC with an RTX 5090, and a poor image quality on Accetto Corsa Evo and F1 25..
