Hi I need to check a detail with you. When you launch the client, is your LH controller connected to your PC via a cable at the same time? Could you please get back to me when you have a moment? Thank you.
Thanks a lot for sharing your feedback on Crystal Super Ultrawide’s screen recording feature.
We see that the recorded footage comes out curved rather than flat. Would you mind sending over your recorded video as well as the software logs? Our technical team will analyze them to identify the cause and roll out a fix soon. Thank you
Hi,
Interface seems great.
For me two major issues :
-The lack of app launcher into EVO
-at each launch, I have to go through the setup, even if I select “not display again”
Same here. Very bad stuttering. Had to uninstall
What headset do you have?
I’m experiencing 1-second pulses of mouse and keyboard interrupts while the app is open.
I’m using a dream air lighthouse version
It occurs regardless of whether OpenPort is active or not.
I have noted several other users noting this.
Any update on the sBoys driver for the Super Series?
I’m back on 2.0.1 and its perfect again, is there anywhere we can view current evo release including patch notes? The main page just requests sign up again so I can’t easily see if a new build that may address the stutter has been released.
Dream Air Lighthouse - back on classic 2.0.1 now and all is well again
wherei do not see it?
If evo is supposed to be seperate from pimax play and be able to co-exist with it, why does it keep overwritting and removing it? also why you can you redownload 2.0.1? on the pimax website whrere its listed you can download the PimaxPlaySetup_Release_ToC_V2.0.1.222_202606121821 file but it keeps installing EVO 1.0 so this file is not the correct software thats posted on the pimax download site.
We have only added these few features. Aside from that, the features are identical to Pimax Play 2.0, although some features have not been implemented yet.
There is a beta version that adds support for this feature. However, the distortion profile has not yet been fully optimized.
EVO is currently an Early Access release, and we recognize that some users may prefer to revert to a previous version if the experience doesn’t meet their expectations.
For that reason, the download page only hosts the official stable and beta releases, which are currently Pimax Play 1.44.2 and Pimax Play 2.0.1.
I also tested this on my end by downloading the 2.0.1 installer from the website and performing a fresh installation. The installer correctly deployed the standard Pimax Play 2.0.1 build and not the EVO 1.0 version.
Could you please check your DMs? I have an internal build for you to test and see if it resolves the mouse stuttering issue.
I have extreme stuttering of mouse also, Pimax Dream air - lighthouse
The other problem I have is using the sboys3 driver via EVO the view in my headset is just a small slit near the bottom of the display that runs from the left edge horizontally to the right edge. It is unusable.
The developers are aware of the mouse stuttering issue and are currently working on a fix.
Regarding the small slit, did it only start appearing after you installed EVO, or was it already present when you were using the previous build?
I see 2.0.1 here.
Problem - When you put hmd possible IPD has moved.
Suggestion - on startup of evo check mechanical IPD to last set IPD. If moved correct IPD automatically.
Thanks for the heads up. That makes sense. Just wanted to check in case I missed something.
