As @dstar said you’d need to compare the 
amount with conversion as the sale is in funds to see if/how much it is short.
@PimaxQuorra - For those who have been granted a refund will the original backer box still be shipped? I shouldn’t really have to ask this question but all things considered need some clarification. What’s also happening with the controller refund, how is that being handled?

If you wish to request the refund for the stretchgoal box, you may contact with the support team. They will remark your Backer Number and the Backer box will not be shipped.
This will require additional action from our user, just log a ticket to the support and they gonna assist you to proceed the refund.

Thanks for the reply but how much is the backer box refund, this is the first I’ve heard of it? I don’t really need the basestations any more although I guess they do hold some resell value.

Sorry we had made a mistake on the StretchGoal refund.
If Any backer with stretch goals does not receive their tracking number before Oct. 31st, 2020 they can request a refund of $150 to their Paypal account.
But we will discuss with the support whether backer can request a refund when they really don’t need the StretchGoal Box before the deadline.

Mine will include 2x basestations which I assume are worth more than $150 including all the other bits (£139 each on Steam). It would be nice if Pimax offered some kind of full refund of these together as I assume they will all ship together as well.

purchase price and sale price are different things. I would take the box.
Yes offering $75 for each basestation when I can sell them locally for double the amount makes little sense. I will keep the basestations then and refund everything else if that’s an option.

Geee, what is the real cost for Pimax! The can’t even fulfill the orders they have so the “raw materials” simply go to another client! It’s normal to have refund charge some time but after so much delays and problems and with the current under production it’s not reasonable nor good policy

JFYI - A little off-topic until the refund comes in less than the $150 it’s supposed to be, but today I arranged my controllers refund. It was handled very well by Pimax support but will take 7-10 days.

Yes it is rather odd that Pimax don’t have a dedicated thread about this or much info at all. Probably buried somewhere in all the fluff. You basically create a ticket and someone will handle it for you. The response I had was pretty quick, which is encouraging, but the time for it to process is long. I am on day 10 now and was told it would take 7-10 days. They didn’t specify if it was 7-10 working days though. If it is, then the latest I will have to wait is Thursday 17th. That will be the full 10 working days. If it’s longer than that, then there’s no excuse really.

Controller $150 refund arrived just now although I did nudge them yesterday.
Amount received
$144.00 USD
Paypal Fee $7.36 USD
Total $136.64 USD
So Pimax took a $6 fee on top of the Paypal fee. Better than nothing though.
Just waiting for my backer box and then I’m done here.

I would pursue this if it was me going for the refund as this is not what was presented when they said they would refund the controllers.
I’ve been waiting a month now, and my ticket shows as approved so be prepared. Pimax had better refund me the full 150 then I’ll waive the interest they owe me for holding my money for 3 years.
