The refund received was less than I paid

Ok I will ask them to refund it, if they refused I will have to open the dispute on paypal.

this is very poor show on their part.

Yep I am bringing this to my CC company. Pimax are acting terribly over this, to the point where I am now wary of supporting future Pimax products.

keep in mind I am forfeiting my 100$ voucher code (wont be using it on pimax products) and the backer discount already, I have basically already given pimax money by not spending the code, then they take more money from me after spending it on their arguably overpriced and severily delayed (over 2 years with no controllers) headset.

I have conteacte paypal, it is a paypal fee, it is not a ‘production’ fee despite what support said, i got the money back that they recieved, paypal have given me the remainder of the fee.

Yes, its a sum of different PayPal feeeeees. Difference from region to region or country. Nice to know.

Even for those paying with Credit Cards. Not so sure about that.

Financial institutions and their services across national borders or US/EU/Asia is certainly not free. First, ask your bank about the terms of use

This really comes down to time. With pimax taking pre order money when they did without being able to deliver on time. Folks should have refunded their pre orders till later closer to release. Since the “purchase” was so long ago credit & pay systems don’t see it as a normal refund and have extra fees similar to if pimax bought something from you.

Even though pimax failed to deliver the product. Essentially pimax shouldn’t have taken pre order money as soon as they had. Then no fees for cancelling the purchase would have happened.

I already paid a $13 transaction fee when making the pre-order. Even if the same fee applies for the refund the amount taken is more than that. I believe my CC company will refund the full amount and likely the $13 transaction fee as well.

From my own experience with the plan F failure, i can tell, it really helps and speeds up the process of refunding, when things don’t work out like they should, to let PayPal or cc company step in. :+1:

If you don‘t understand that I‘m angry and heavily disappointed by the lack of courage to at least comment on this, ban me for speaking my heart. I feel like a fool for hoping you won‘t keep s…hitting me.

Really hoped you guys make difference but you do not.
I usually refrain to use the word lie since it was used many times wrongfully.
But there is no other way to describe it if someone claims to help, just that others can read it. But with 0=ZERO communication after that claim there is no alternative more flattering word for that. Peace but It had to be said!

I would also like to express my sincere disappointment as to the 100% lack of any follow up on this issue. You promised to be personally on top of this @PimaxQuorra with nothing to show for.

When i refunded/cancel my order of the base station due to delay’s they charged me quite a high fee refund, and also for the conversion of the currency.
Actual i was kind of shocked and if i recall correclty it was something like 35-45 usd or so.
Pimax or who ever they work together with to refund people earn money doing so that is for sure.
I think pimax should stop this right now and just give people their money, most cancel due to pimax for many years rarely have kept their promises or release dates. I think people have been punished enough for lending pimax their money for x period of time with 0% interest while waiting for the preordered stuff people ordered that sometimes did not come for example 10 month… example i preorder 8kx arround oct/november 2019 and it first getting shipped in the next few days… just saying its a long time to wait i understand people ask for a refund and they should not be punished for this and pay a high fee.

They refunded 577.43 euro

I paid 656.83 euro

Thats a very big difference.

with your bank. The dollar / euro exchange rate has been pretty bad for the dollar last 3 weeks.
