Congrats you are probably the first one in nz to receive the 8kx, did you receive a tracking number? Or did it just show up at your front door?

Just received Fedex tracking number in email from Pimax for Order SO79xx from 2nd Dec 19.
ETA Thursday in Aussie. Shipping looks to be speeding up after the strong orders end of Oct 19.

Are you sure it is the SO79XX 8K-X or could it be something besides the 8K-X?
I am SO4969 10/31/2019 still nothing. I am hoping it is in transit but so far no tracking info. In US so maybe that??

It is 8Kx SO79xx 2nd Dec 2019. I think that their order number system jumped from 4000 -5000-7000.
Other shipments happening for December orders. Check with Pimax.

It seems SO numbers mean nothing as i’m SO6xxx and upgraded in feb 2020

Yes I agree. It looks as though there were different order books used which means that the only accurate way of determining the delivery order was by the order date??
Got tracking this morning as well… Excited for my 8KX to finally arrive, but feel bad for those who are way ahead of me in the line. But we know this by now, they ship in batches and order number does not matter apparantly 
At least Pimax recent shipping/production statements seems legit.

As someone who ordered in Feb i’m fully expecting delivery in December at the earliest. Hopefully that will mean plenty of buyers looking for Xmas presents when i sell it 
While I’m concerned for those who seem to have been skipped, seeing an order from late December is great. My upgrade order S0102xx was placed in early January. I’ve received no shipment notice via email, nor the backer store info.

I’m also a day one and within about 10 minutes of Pimax opening up the preorder and nothing. I’m pleased so many have received their order but it’s bitter sweet knowing you’ve been skipped completely.

True. What the hell is going on at Pimax? For a company which manufactures goods, shipping should be the easy part.

A typical cycle of anticipation leading up to each PD day, with positive spin talk by pimax employees about progress and productivity, followed by months of trickling shipments and information with users left mostly to speculate on their own. There’s certainly a disconnect between what’s announced and the daily reality.
