This is more on pimax. Making promises they fail to keep when the time comes. Nothing new. Pimax also assured backers would be fulfilled prior to pre orders.(2018 release)
I am sure Backers after some consideration thought maybe this time pimax keep with the promise.
Perhaps third time will be the charm. 
If you consider it at it’s base. A Backer whom upgraded. Isn’t complaining that a pre order received. They are honestly claiming pimax failed to honor what they said they would do.
Anyone whom received the 5k+ serial 202 likely is less concerned about receiving earlier 8kX serials. We have already seen 2 variants on MAS hinges sent.

Yes I see that now. I apologize for having missed that earlier and for my possibly unfounded feeling that Pimax is needlessly stingy with information. Still, the announcement from Pimax Quorra yesterday was distressingly vague, “Rest assured we are producing and shipping considerable numbers of 8KX each day.” Perhaps you could help him to avoid terms like “considerable numbers” when addressing a sensitive audience. I know you’re trying to do good work. I thank you for that. Don’t give up.

That’s honestly been a consideration of mine for a while. I’d rather be a little later if it means that what I get will be better constructed.
Pimax also said it would deliver preorders in December, January on the outside. Yet it has offered nothing in compensation for my having to wait for almost eleven months now. As long as I’m on it, it also reneged on a veteran’s discount and a silicone protector.

I was one of the backers that got the 202 headsetts. Hope that is not the case for my 8kx and everyone gets the same product.

Feel like one of the lucky few. Pre-order SO5193 1st November. No e-mail from Pimax but been tracking order with FedEx since shipping on Wednesday. Delivery scheduled for today pre-1800 but given that its in Cologne Germany and I’m in Scotland think that’s unlikely. So close, so excited!

If we’re 90 orders apart, then in theory I should get tracking within a few working days - but who knows!

Hey why am I still not getting an update on my unit. I have ordered way before others that have received theirs in the area.
I am still waiting for an update, support has promised that to me but these were simply empty promises. I didn’t receive any message or update afterwards even though it was promised. It’s been another week passed now.
Why do you lie to customers. It’s really been enough now. Where is the product I bought.
