I work in the industry (workplace health & safety) in convict land. We mostly are the same as the British system. I donât know your circumstances but one option is you can ask your doctor, if appropriate, to change you to home based duties for a few hours a day with no lift/carry/push/pull/climb etcâŠbasically restrict you to some laptop work at home for a few hours a day and then put a note is safe to attend office briefly to pick up work and personal items.
The downside is your work may actually give you a few hours laptop work a day, so if that interferes with recovery then maybe health first.
Good luck you backed a kickstarter not invested in a pre order.

I am already working from home with a laptop, I got that set up the same week I had surgery on my shoulder. Anyways one of my colleagues dropped it off at my house. All is well and am happy to say the hardware I received is defect free with exception of the cable. I feel the shielding is perhaps insufficient, I am getting plenty of noise. I will try routing it differently to keep it clear of my PCâs PSU and see if that makes a difference.

The thing is when those surveys came out the first time I recall people saying that this wasnât secure since it was requiring us to enter a backer number. There was absolutely nothing stopping someone from redirecting headsets at all. The kickstarter address is how other kickstarters do it, they send a confirmation email to ensure that is the correct place and perhaps build a simple form website with the backer ID built in with a one time use token to get the details. The ones I have seen have used google docs stuff so it isnât complex.
It is just another own goal by PiMax where their community tried to guide them to a better solution but PiMax knew best and made the same mistake again. Even then it doesnât take 2 weeks to go few even thousands of addresses and confirm they are the same. It is boring work sure but it takes a few hours not weeks.

Honestly i think it was just a way to push 5k+ to backers as it was cheaper and maximised profit/loss

Surely they will cross reference addresses with original kickstarter addresses and then double ckeck any changed addresses , wont they ???
