According to the development plan, it will not be available in Q4 2025.

Internally, is Pimax still chasing the goal of ~200 degrees of Human FOV(widest fov hmd is the 8kx and its 7yrs old) or are these new lighter/compact headsets a shift in internal direction? Thank you!

We are still working to push the limits of FoV, panels, optical stacks, and tracking algorithm.
It may not reach the full 200° of human FoV, but we aim to achieve a WIDE one.
Hello, could there be? or can I swap the aspheric lenses, to the oled super with the 57ppd?
I sense something about the pancake lenses used on the oled, may impair visually because of barrel distortion.
If pimax says “To go where no one has gone before” end users* 
may want a smoother lens with less potential of a fisheye effect.
how does the dream air counteract barrel distortion?

I guess what I’m really asking is, are there current and immediate plans to adopt these latest OLED panels into a headset with an 8KX like FOV (8KX had 159°*)?* This latest pimax headset achieves 116° horizontal fov which is much lower. The Crystal Ultrawide is 140° horizontal which is also lower than the 8KX.

Is the Dream Air headset compatible with other headstraps? I saw in the stream that they were using the HTC Delux strap(?), is this going to be supported in the final version? (I know it comes with a strap but for options that may add a top strap it might be nice) Is there a current plan for the fabric/self adjusting headstrap to have a top strap solution? I understand it is lightweight but I do prefer having that extra “security” and if something is already lightweight, having all that minimal weight transferred away from the face could be very nice and feel almost weightless.
Any news on the refresh rates? At the very least, max refresh rate?
What kind of vertical FOV do you have for the Dream Air?
For those of us that pre ordered a while back (earlier this year) do we get the old Pre Order bonuses as well as the new ones announced today, or just the older ones? As I require prescription lenses.
(Edit) Any chance of other colours/styles? I’m rather partial to the idea of a grey/black or out right black/black variant.

I want to ask the same thing, and will the reservation fee buyers be able to choose the Halo strap before finalising the shipment?
Also, want to hear more precise information about shipment date for Dream Air with slam. I’m moving around the countries, will be in China until the end of the winter, and hope to get the headset before this deadline.

Is there any 3.5mm audio jack on the headset for our own audio solution to be used on the device?
Or will we have to use Bluetooth audio solutions if we don’t want to use the built in audio.

I want the 4k per eye but I imagine that would drain the battery so the Se is good if I can get like 2-3 hours
Small internal battery that lasts like 10min while I swap out batteries mmmmmmmmh🤤

I did not see in the video any numbers for stereo overlap for the Dream Air, Dream Air SE or Super microOLED. Have they been finalized and if so, what are they?
