Hi for OLED orders from June when they will be shipped out?
I want to use it in linux also
Are you sure you want that? High FOV requires an aggressive distortion profile, which means partially wasted resolution. Super QLED already requires 6420x7412 render resolution, which is hard on GPU. Higher FOV would require even more to compensate for the distortion.
Hi, iāve just watched Pimax Sync!
About the Pimax Dream Air , the first list of features when it was announced said it will be āLighthouse Compatibleā

But as thereās seem to have no swapable lighthouse faceplate, would that mean that there will be 2 hardware headset version, a Dream Air Slam and a Dream Air Lighthouse ?
Or would that mean that the slam technology AND the lighthouse technology are already included in the headset ?
If i choose the Dream Air SE Lighthouse version for example, no controler , 899$, will I be able to play with an Xbox controler and have the hmd tracked WITHOUT my base station ? And use the slam hand tracking when available ?
SLAM is the future, but itās not precise enough for the moment for shooter ( occlusions problems )
Hello,
What are the expected PPD for Dream Air and SE version?
Thanks
Saw in the video, the dream had the HTC DAS attached. Will that be possible with the release model. I use the DAS on my Quest and itās amazing. Iād love to integrate it onto the dream for comfort and enhanced audio.
The Halo Strap is a reward for pre-orders and unfortunately cannot be selected as an option before the shipment is finalized.
As for the exact shipment time, I donāt have that information at the moment, but we will provide more frequent updates moving forward.
No, you canāt swap the lenses as you can with the Crystal or Light.
There are currently no plans to adopt this panel into a headset with an 8KX-like FoV.
For the headstraps, some DIY work may be required, but they should be easy to modify.
The strap shown in the video is not the final version ā weāll share more details soon.
Regarding refresh rates, this will be addressed in the upcoming video.
Additionally, weāll provide a clearer breakdown of early and recent pre-orders, including pricing, shipping priority, and the perks that will be rewarded.
No other colours or styles are available.
This will be answered shortly.
The Dream Air is powered directly through a native DP cable and USB, so it doesnāt require a battery.
The strap used in the early unit was designed for business solutions and is not the final or consumer release model.
If you have the DAS, you can modify and attach it as an alternative.
Hello,
We will provide an answer shortly.
Hi,
I have two questions:
- will dream air support eye relief adjustment?
- MRTV mentioned dream airs brightness to be just on par with Beyond 2 and Meganex. Does the final product offer higher brightness levels (maybe to the expense of fan noise but not by increasing tearing)? Is it maybe even possible for you to provide measurement values?
Thanks!

In another PIMAX video it was said, that positional tracking is done with 60 Hz, which is shared between hmd and controllers (30 Hz each). When no controllers are used (flight sim, simracing), are then the full 60 Hz used for tracking the hmd?
Is there going to be a USB-C port for accessories on the Dream Air?
Is it correct that the Dream Air will not downscale at 90hz (unlike the SE that does)?
This is a great question, if it didnāt have one already, Iād really like one for social VR things for example, especially the lighthouse tracked one as hopefully thatās got less data throughput/room and people playing social VR are far more likely to have base stations due to FBT etc. ^^
In the video the mixed reality faceplate was also mentioned.
How is the progresss and when will it be available for the Crystal OG and/or the Super?
