does hand tracking work on the super if you are using lighthouse ? technically you still have the cameras..???
im not seeing the framerate overlay in dcs. i have it enabled. am i missing something?
You may want to re-word your press release to make this much clearer then. The way it’s worded now it sounds like a 6 month free trial of a subscription service to test experimental features on the hardware we’ve already paid you THOUSANDS for.
Breaking out paid software extensions (like said advanced eye tracking) into something like an app store would let us choose what we want to pay for instead of just a blanket subscription for EVO.
A related question: I already OWN a Tobii eye tracker (purchased directly from Tobii). Why would I need to purchase a seperate license to use the advanced eye tracking I already own?

Yes! And it’s hard to even use the mouse when it stutters so much. Went back to Classic for now.
also having this issue. if you open task manager the slowness goes away.. but only when task manager is the active window.. going back to pimax play for now.. evo is unuseable in its current state. after choosing to go back to pimax play, performance improved.. but there is still significant lag between mouse movement and button presses. im going to need to reinstall pimax play from scratch now.
Are any of the initial 5 features non free after 6 months?
Cool so none of that applies to the initial 5 test features. So a case of bad wording for layout with saying “free access the all features”. As that implies current rolled out initial test features may become unavailable.
To be clear I myself do not see an issue with new features having a possible cost like DLC in games as it may help pimax focus on current headset model line up vs releasing new headset every seemingly 6 months.

Okay so I installed this today and went for a flight in MSFS 2024 flying the Airbus A350 (IniBuilds version that I always fly), setup for a quick flight from Cardiff (EGFF) to Heathrow (EGLL), about a 20min flight only.
5 times the headset went black (went off) off and I had to wait for it to come back on, last time was just as I was landing and just managed to get the plane down properly, this is not what I had expected from this software.
When you are changing the setting over for render areas, you have to go to the settings and either restart the headset or restart the service for the changes to take effect - you can’t just do it on the same page or it has one button which says “Apply Changes” - is this possible to make it easier
I would be good to see the changes immediately on the screen without having to restart either the service or the headset
If you are trying to dial the settings in this would benefit users I am sure.
As for the blackout issues I have never had this happen in such a short space of time and seems to be a problem there.
Anyone else have the same issues ??

Jaap if I might make a suggestion to make these announcements smoother with less confusion in intent etc..
First roll out the announcement to a test group. This will allow opportunities to tweak the announcement with valuable feedback

New UI looks great, but where did the Dynamic Foveated Rendering settings go? Is it not available anymore?
Unfortunately no good for me. As soon as the client starts up and is running my pc starts with the mini-freezes. I can’t even move my mouse once without this happening, so it’s not really possible to even use my pc properly with this app open.

it overwrites your pimax play installation. “switching” is basically going back to the pimax play interface. I had to completely uninstall evo, and reinstall pimax play because when evo is running, it bogs down the mouse cursor so much its impossible to navigate.
Does Evo support switching between Slam and LH for Crystal Super with new LH plate installed?
Just downloaded and installed- looking forward to trying it out tonight!

I’m wondering about the ‘payment wall’ as well. Is this going to wind up being a subscription? IF so, will it be optional and leave Pimax Play for those who choose not to subscribe? Will the latter continue to be updated? Hopefully Pimax will clarify all this. In the meantime- I’m going to put it to the old ‘finn’ stress test. If any software can be broken by user ineptitude, I’m the guy to make it so. 
How long after registration did the email arrive?
I got the emal about the evo software with a link that says click to add your email to get a link but when i click it, i goto a page about the software and when you click to apply for early access it takes you to a link to purchase a headset bundled with the evo software so how in the world do you get the software?
you gotta clijck the email titled ´Pimax Play EVO: 5 new features, available today´ , click top link register, and they will pretty quick send you a early access email. I got mine in like four hour the link is not public but invite titled ´Pimax Play EVO Download Link + Invitation to Discuss´
