the one 8k is in the entry area for handmotion testing. the other one is for sim racing, ED and basically anything you want, because Martin has opened up the roster of games to a pretty good filled steam library.
and i had one other 8k device switched onto the 5k+ setup.
As Far as usage with a RTX2080, one advantage is that it has a Virtual Link port. So in the event of using the card with other future HMD, It’s plug and play. This 8k was only $100 more than my Odyssey. Something like the VRStar will be $1000+ for now. I’m not liking that. No matter what, Pimax will force other MFG. to try and match price point. So, RTX2080 a better choice?

at first we had the problem with Pimax shipping date and lense problems and now we don’t know which HMD to choose: 5K plus or 8K…aaaaahhhhhhh
no. it was very late already they started closing shop. i left the room to see the other 8k. but today everything got a reset. they upgraded the machines to uptodate PiPlay. i think the reviews youre getting today are pretty much whats it all about. 5k+ very nice. 8k has a slight edge over 5k+ resolotion and SDEwise but both are really nice.
Yesterday there were lots of people playing Assetto Corsa. i don’t know why nobodys reporting about it. Martin will show us sth eventually. But i saw those ppl very pleased. i myself tried Skyrim and Arizona too and both headsets perform really nice with those titles. Skyrim looks a bit old and stony on the nice panels. Skyrim Graphics are real granny stuff. but Arizona really shines on the 8k.
can’t stand my vive here any longer, since i got the better drug just yesterday. i wanna upgrade like RIGHTNOW!!!

yes offcourse the ugly naked vanilla kind of moldy granny experience. hurts my eyes when used to mods, and especially with those headsets now its kinda embarrassing.

Infact I suspect that we still see pixel on 8k when wathching porn video or not because porn video has more brightness and can see pixel easily.
Since they allow you to load up any game from Steam, can you load up Project Cars and look at the distance and see what it’s like? Some of you guys can’t play the game anyway because the controller is not functioning. Tell us about the SDE in the distance, don’t worry about the objects near you. Try to drive forward a little bit and look at the distance.
Also try more interviews of those that try to watch Big Screen. It seems like everyone is an ELITE Dangerous nerds over there lol.
