So, i figured out last night that setting the Overlay to greater than 1 makes the desktop popup and toolbars more sharp and clear. This is great however you now get all kinds of stutter or jerky movement.
So first i am using a RTX 5090 and Ryzen 9 with 64GB. so he hardware i not the problem.
If when i am playing DCS i can get a smooth outcome which is pushing lots of graphics. Why Can’t Pimax have a clear smooth Desktop experience? Seems like if it should be able to be done with no problems.
any idea how to get smooth non-shutter in pimaxPlay and a sharp clear desktop image?
Which Pimax Play you’re using now?
latest. if you change the render scale inside the PP you can set it to over 1.3 which then make the desktop clear. however once yo move your head everything shutters.
Let me forward this to our developers so they can investigate what’s causing the stuttering.

so what i listed as this ticket is just in the App. what i found is that you can adjust the resolution.
So with a high end and 8K headset i want to also see my desktop in 8K. when i adjust the overlay scale to 2, i get the high resolution. but then everything gets stutter like.
so to keep the app smooth, i have to adjust the overlay to 1.
hoping they can figure this out.
in game things seem to work great for now
