I’m mostly a racing simmer so my last two real VR sessions were in Le Mans Ultimate and iRacing. Really love both, I would say iRacing is harder but Le Mans Ultimate strikes a good balance for a simulator. Both absolutely great in VR with no performance issues.
I was waiting for my super to get stuck into some of the biggest titles of the last while such as Alien and Behemoth, so playing through them. Also playing through Pools in VR which is an odd experience!
As for applications, I use my Quest 3 as a web browser pretty often in the living room. It’s quite nice to have the option of multiple floating monitors like that, handy for hunting down holidays and comparing deals etc that sort of thing.
I managed to have two sneaky sessions with my new RTX 5090 and Pimax Crystal (original) before it got too hot, we are in the middle of a heatwave in the UK
Absolutely amazing being able to run super sampling, the GPU upgrade is actually great value contrary to popular opinion…

I am one of the only people here in Ireland with air conditioning and it’s purely so I can play VR in the summer lol. Although, to be honest, it’s starting to become necessary for the summer in general.
No Man’s Sky, very interesting space exploration game.
Just been playing “Dirt Rally 2.0” VR for the first time, got used to drifting after a dozen laps feels very impressive
I don’t play games, but have been using my Pimax 5k super to watch lots of videos and movies.
The app DeoVR was great then it has been going downhill for years.
So now it’s mostly either Play’A or Whirligig VR player.
I bought a Varjo Aero at discount, thinking it was an upgrade, but it’s picture quality is quite disappointing. Sometimes even the good old Pimax 5K super works better without all the color banding.
Right now Quest 3 has taken over the job of VR watching. It’s much more convenient, and the video and audio qualities are quite good.
