Really glad things are moving along ,but it still seems abit of the early projection of production and shipping @deletedpimaxrep1 are you able to increase your production at the moment or is it still a case of figuring out the logistics for a smooth production line ,
i know we would all like our units before christmas but would be nice if we could get a realistic figure ,regards G

Apparently up to backer #333 have received their hmd selection e-mail. I am backer in #340 ish, no email received yet. I suppose they will do mass shipping on second batch once they figured out which shipping companies best for the product.

how many backers are there?
5946 listed on KS. 283 of which are just $5, so 5663 HMD backers.
Backer numbers I think go roughly to the high 7000’s so a few cancellations and changes created gaps.

Some backers signed up for a package of 5 or 10 headsets, so keep in mind that ~6000+ headsets have been backed.
I wouldn’t be too excited for a “next batch” because all the first 100 haven’t even received their headsets or been given tracking. They have shipped essentially all 8K headsets below 101, but not a lot of 5K+ was shipped.

this has to be one of the hardest parts ,finding delivery companies with good players so you know your products not going to get lost or damaged along with a realistic price ,
Meanwhile your production crew have got to know what and how ,along with atouch of good job thrown in AT ANOTHER REASONABLE COST
Now we all know Dave from the pub is looking for some production work ,but im not sure hes that good with his hands .
So what pimax would like to happen i can see as maybe not there yet

sounds like they won’t hit avg. consumer market for awhile then… they haven’t even started pre orders!
There is no chance that 90% of backers will have their headsets before Christmas at this rate ,
I’m happy to wait if it means that only the better components are used
