Washed comfort kit face foams right after unboxing

I don’t know if this will make other people want to wash theirs, I still suggest you do it.

Note I have also washed the side and back foams separately after that. Those are from a different material and there was no residue left in the water this time, only a thin film of oil.

Dryed with bath towel, then air compressor, then warm air blower (not too warm).

I had the similar “waste” from the completely new original HTC Vive face foam. Washing the foams before the first use is definitely a good idea.
