I bought gloves with finger tracking and they do not work on steam with pimax headsets very dissapointing per usual with pimax.
Have you tried turning on the “Emulate index controllers” option?
Tbh, I have never even heard of these gloves and I am deep into VR. I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect Pimax to support such an osbcure product,the product itself would need to be the ones providing support or come with a headset agnostic approach.
I would assume they intend for it to only work with steamVR native headsets or such. That said, the kickstart shows a pimax headset:
So with that in mind, I think you might just have set the gloves up wrong? They look like they are tracked using lighthouse trackers so I would imagine it’s a process of use OpenXR space calibrator or such so it should bypass any pimax software entirely.
Anyway, all said this is certainly not a Pimax problem and it’s unfair to say it’s “disappointing per usual” when it has nothing to do with Pimax.
Could you describe how you have tried to set it up? I expect reaching out to UDCAP themselves would make a lot more sense though, as it’s on them to support various hardware configurations.

I can use this with play space calibrator with any wireless headset I dont know why a wired pc vr headset woudlnt support tracked peripherals. Like pimax should have this figured out, I can try the emulated controller option I’ll see if I can figure it out but yeah its dissapointing how the pimax software doesnt allow steam vr to even initialize the controllers. I am using a pimax 8kx with which is wired and has proper tracking.
You can use space calibrator the same with Pimax headsets just fine, plenty of people have done it for example when adding Index controllers to the Crystal without the lighthouse faceplate or such.
Again, this isn’t a Pimax problem. Reach out to UDCAP and ask them how it should be setup with a Pimax headset. Their setup should be bypassing anything Pimax related. If you can do it with a wireless headset then the same thing should be possible with the Pimax headset.
i figured it out it appears like pimax play changes the id of my trackers to a different ID I had to reset the id, very anoying but I figured it out.

Can you post your tutorial on hoe you setup and got it working with pimax hmds please. This csn help other pimax customers if they purchase these gloves and possibly other peripherals.
From a quick look. They do look cool.
