How do you turn off the DA? On my 8KX I would hold down the power button but that doesn’t seem to work on the DA.
i have not gotten mine to turn off either. Technically the LED should be blue when you wear it, then if you remove it turn Green. this means the lens are off, but the headset stays on.
i think primax has a issue still because my headset will not turn green or if it does the Lens are still on. so I just unplug mine each time.
if you unplug then you also have to Restart the service or headset each time.
I also have issues with the headset not connecting and being really temperamental. Sometimes I have to unplug it, wait for 30 seconds, and if I plug it back in too quickly, it doesn’t work. It’s very temperamental. I’m using Pimax Evo the latest version.
@PimaxQuorra this seems to be a thing. Can you advise?

ethannz - sounds like me. every time i plug it back in i have to perform a restart service.

- Blue – The headset is connected.
- Green – The headset is powered on but not connected.
If you’re done using the headset, you can simply exit Pimax Play. The headset only draws a tiny amount of power to keep the lenses slightly warm, which helps prevent them from fogging up when you put the headset on.
If you want to fully power it down, you’ll need to unplug the USB cable or disconnect the power supply.
So, the headset LED stays green the entire time, and even after you click “Restart Service”, it still doesn’t connect. Is that correct?
What i was saying is the behavior of the headset is not working as your team expected. For me i just unplug the headset when i am done so i know its 100% off.
What i suspect is not working is the auto time out that puts the headset to sleep. I can take off the headset and go eat, then come back 30 min later and the lens are still on. So given this is unrealiable, i simply unplug each time.
since i unplug the headset, simply plugging it back in does not put you back to things working. So i always hit “restart service” and then the LENS are on again and back to normal.
looks like this needs to be vetted a little in the software still.
Side note: if i go and change the settings like DFR, or image quality the screens will do black and sometime not turn back on. what i have to do is raise the headset and let the face sensor detect its on my head again and then the screens show up.
So the issue with going to sleep might just be a issue with the face sensor.
im on version 2.02 just incace that matters

I also unplug the DA power when not in use, but it makes me nervous constantly plugging and un-plugging it.
