Basics Found both Similar for clarity reading text.
8k they found peripheral a bit blurry vs 5k+. But center view was clear. SDE less on 8k. Impressed overall.
Budget recommends Rift & og Vive.
Reccommends 5k+ vs Vive Pro for price.
For them for Price they would choose 5k+ as they didn’t find a big difference between them. But cite this will vary on the individual & if can should try both if opportunity is there.
I have a bad flu since Tuesday this week. Still not fully ok yet and my voice is almost gone lol, so my video is gonna be made and uploaded as soon as I feel better again. Im sorry for the delay guys.
there isn’t really news
all we read is pretty much what the 3 testers already found out
sweviver was spot on, we just got distracted by lens shots and btw pimax was right too, there opinion on the 5k+ was exactly what we say now - just to important/good to hold back just because its not as “highres” as the 8k - and when it comes to the 5k BE oled’s i guess pimax knows its stuff, they say the oled version is not able to compete when it comes to resolution and clarity so its very likely that way
one of the things that really might be of importance (for sim’s) is the question if there is a little edge to the 8k for far away objects, that’s something you can’t find out in a 2 x 5 min test, that needs very specific conditions for testing and even some statistics
because of the scaler and the different pixel pattern in the 8k there might be some ripple effect when a one or two pixel object is moving and as the brain is trained for movements the movement on the 8k might be easier to spot - so its at least possible even if both get the same signal (resolution)
Yeah, it’s going around in the US too. My wife and I both caught it, even though we were vaccinated this year. The worst was over in 2 days, but it’s been over 2 weeks and we still aren’t back to full health (or normal speaking voices).
I had a fever for 2 days also, but it didn’t get higher than 38.89°C (101.8°F). I felt quite a bit better on day 3, then the chest congestion and coughing began (and still hasn’t gone away completely, yet). Oddly, my wife didn’t have much of a fever at all, but had “digestive issues” that didn’t affect me at all, other than occasional mild nausea.
The flu sucks; go get vaccinated, even if it doesn’t always prevent getting sick, your illness should be milder. I hate to think what this would have been like without being vaccinated.
Just wondering what people think of these accents of the girls? Also Nathie, I am Dutch myself and have a total cringe fest when I hear the strong Dutch accents in English but I wonder if non-Dutch experience the same
