When I use applications such as Skybox Vr or DeoVr, while watching movies, a black screen appears from time to time and I have to take the goggles off my head and put them back on to start playing the movie again.
It’s really annoying, I tried to disable USB sleep on my computer but it doesn’t help.
I updated Pimax Play and Nvidia drivers to the latest versions and video codecs, but that didn’t help either.
I don’t know what’s wrong with these goggles, I’d like to ask you for help.
Below are the specifications of the computer and goggles.

Although not ideal, have you tried putting black tape over the sensor that senses light? It’s on the headset area where your would sit.
When your nose mostly covers the area it reduces the light on the sensor and it “knows” you’ve got the headset on. By covering the sensor it “thinks” you’ve always got the headset on. This would determine if there’s too much light reaching the sensor or the sensor is damaged in some way.
You can also try setting the timeout in PiMax Play to something like 5 or 20mins. to see if that changes the time before “blackout”, if it doesn’t then there’s some other issue instead…
I was having screen blackout problems with my new micro-oled, but can confirm that the new pimax guide to screen blackouts has helped me fix it.
In my case, I needed to identify and switch my headset to a CPU direct USB port.
What I cant understand is why this issue had never effected my previous headsets (including the Crystal OG). Anyway, so far so good after doing this now.
I have since had a reoccurance of this issue. It isn’t as prevalent, and mainly seems to happen after start up, then settle down. I have followed all of the steps advised, but unfortunately, though not as bad, the issue remains.
