I installed Steam VR yesterday for the first time to play IL2 on Steam. I have DCS and MSFS standalone. After running IL2 on Steam VR I could not get into DCS or MSFS properly after “Start Game”: all I saw was an out-of-focus image on both monitor and in the PCL, and my mouse was unresponsive. Consequently, I uninstalled IL2 from steam, removed it from App Library and restarted Pimax Play. Result: I can get into both now, mouse works, but both DCS and MSFS remain out of focus on monitor and PCL until I recenter using a keyboard shortcut. Is there a known software conflict?
Please make sure the runtime is set to Pimax OpenXR or SteamVR.
If you Alt+Tab to the DCS/MSFS exe, does the window still stay out of focus?
I 'm not sure what you mean exactly about Alt+Tab the .exe: I start both MSFS and DCS from Pimax Play 2.0 under ‘Start Game’ in the "Select Application and Pimax OpenXR is showing as the runtime under ‘general’. However, for some unknown reason (no changes to anything) both start in focus today. Consequently, there must have been some ephemeral gremlin causing the issue. Thank you.
