So here it is ,my review and impressions off the meganex8k after a long rollercoaster ride

So it has been a rollercoaster ride with my meganex8k wich i got a month ago..
From day one i had a brightness bug where i couldnt set the brightness..

It was vey slow start with the support from shiftall,sending log files and videos etc..
Sometimes there even was a complete silence from them for a very long time..

But i didnt want to give up because i saw what the meganex8k could do in terms off picture quality.So after a month we came to the conclusion that it was hardware related.I told them that after all the trouble i went through we need to go with a direct swap(so that i get a new meganex first and i then could return mine) They decided to go with my suggestion.

SO now here is the meganex now in full glory how it should have been in the beginning..
But wow.. The picture quality is stunning(Boy what did i miss oled) No screendoor,no MURA,and the brightness was way better then i expected..

You need some time(like every other vr headset) to adjust it to your liking.
For me the diopters where great to set it to my eyesight so i dont need to wear glasses.

ALso i am a FOV guy but somehow i dont mind the lower FOV(But what now also has been increased because the amazing guy sboy on discord) off this headset because the amazing 3d(stereo overlap) oled etc.

Also in the sboy custom driver you can choose distortion profiles what suites you the best..This is realy amazing because our eyes are all different from person to person..

The soft strap(hated it) needed to go directly and i modded a quest 3 headstrap now its great.. ALso one good thing is that in the meantime a guy on discord (sboy) released a custom steam vr driver what gives you a alot off options and better performance..

The flip up is also very nice to have.. And i am glad i am back with lighthouse precise tracking.. One more thing the included usb controller tracking dongle is not that great..its better to get a another one..

But a long story short,this is what i wanted for a long time.. Oled,lightweight,no MURA,No screendoor,lighthouse.. This meganex will keep me happy for a long time i think..

And after some more games,unbelievable how far we come… It realy looks stunning.. its the best vr picture that i ever saw..The blacks,the colors,no screendoor,no mura.. It looks like a monitor…

And some more testing tonight… I am addicted to vr again because off this meganex8k.. The only downsite would be the glare.. that could be less… But wow all games have a new dimension.. Maybe @Djonko you should try to get on on ebay.. I know the FOV isnt great.. But the rest sucks you realy into the game.. (and you know my vr standards)

So today i tried the pimax super at my friends house .Wow i am so glad i didnt go with the pimax super yes the sharpness and brightness were amazing and almost no glare But the mura, the comfort(heavy) and no oled were killing it for me.. The meganex sucked me far more into the game..(better 3d overlap for sure)The pimax super felt like a big monitor strapped to my face.. The meganex is my all time favourite now with all the big improvements that has been made the last months thx too sboy custom driver..Its the 3d and colors and blacks and no screendoor or mura is what realy transforms you into the game…After my turn he tried my meganex wich was very funny..We needed to adjust the diopters etc wich took a while then at first he said okay the FOV is smaller for sure and some glare.. But it feels i put on some 3d glasses he said.. Damm thats VR he said lol i am in the game… So it seems he is sensitive for good binoculair overlap i think.. I said now we try a night scene in microsoft flight simulator.. It was funny to see his reaction.. Okay i want micro oled he said..It was a very nice comparison .. He did ordered the meganex just now he messaged me lol ..
