hmd has a be marker on it and pitool will recognize it as be. Performance is the same as consumer version.

So basically by stamping BE on the unit Pimax gets to say they kept their word and didn’t send out units before the backers… oh man… that’s so not right!!! I wonder how much is shipping cost from South Korea to the US? I bet if we ordered from South Korea it would arrive faster than Pimax’s shipping.

Except that they didn’t. They promised to first fulfill the backers, before shipping to business clients (which are now getting sold to normal clients)

Darn it… I found a purchase agency and was going to fill out the form but now all of sudden the link to that Korean online store won’t open for me. Some Korean message pops up that I can’t copy and seconds later the the entire window closes.
Any chance you can verify for me that this online store is still selling the unit? Maybe tomorrow I’ll get lucky and they’ll have an English speaker by phone at the purchase agency.

Thanks. You are from Korea, right? If I were you I’d buy like 10 of those HMD’s and put them up on EBAY, mark up $150 for your work and effort. Easy money. You don’t even need to finance, just let EBAY buyer pay you and then buy the HMD and ship it.

Hmm that’s odd. If they’re just selling that 4 month old 200 pieces batch that Pimax supposedly sold them, why is there now an 2 week delivery time instead of the 2 day they had before??

Do you ever recall in the past Pimax talking about a 8K BE model? If I recall, it was just the 5K and there was actually differences… different panel, sturdier housing, etc… I don’t think these are the 200 units from the past.
We strongly protested the pimax and it seems to be reflected.
