[Replied]Allip started selling 8k, 5k, 5kbe in Korea and is not a pre-order

They always seem to appease the backers with warm words but carry on with the accountants plan regardless , makes you wonder who is in charge

"Need’s must " comes to mind
The kick-starter money will have been spent by now and other investments probably tied to productivity/sales

Yeah better wait till they are in stock with a good retailer and have a good warranty. You can even buy 5k and 8k at the same time and send one back if you have the money. For example In europe there is a legal 14 day term to send a product back without reason.

lol. what makes you say that?

You can’t just say that when they clearly have all the different headsets for sale on their store. This is what you need to explain to backers and people who pre-ordered your product. Otherwise it will just look like you’re lying and not even caring that we’d find out, and that’s worse than selling headsets which I could care little about tbh.

Honestly I am not too bothered by this, we know that a large amount in venture capital came in during the Kickstarter from an as of yet unidentified group. Contractual obligations are made when money changes hands like that, as a corporation you meet contractual agreements unless you want to breach terms and be found liable. There may well have been an agreement made to supply to partner retail by start of 2019.

Your Kickstater money entitles you to nothing, people need to clam down and be patient. You have no rights of entitlement and are blowing hot air for nothing. The new automated QA process tooling coming to their production lines is likely to result in better product arriving to future customers. I am more worried about receiving a headset with dead pixels than waiting another month.

I know your talking sense , but doesn’t make the waiting much easier

I am more anticipating the new CPU line from AMD right now, CES is so close. I have been waiting years to upgrade my rig but Intel has been taking the piss.

@anon74848233 @deletedpimaxrep1 @Sean.Huang Soarin is fine to wait longer for his headset to arrive so he generously is accepting to swap his backer spot with me.

I don’t care about it either, what I care about is we were told one thing and now they are doing something else. If they would have been upfront about it from the start it would have been a non issue. I’m adding this to the list of “little white lies” by Pimax.

I am sure you will find something else to complain about.

i was an early backer then i cancelled but in fear of being left out went for it in the last few days lol

I did a switcheroo from the 5K early bird to 8k, feels bad.

There are gaps in the numbers for people who cancelled or changed pledge, there are about 2000 backer numbers not getting a HMD.

5,946 backers (7684 is highest backer number we know of on the Spreadsheet)
283 backers just did the $5, so 5663 actual HMD backers

Obviously that’s not an exact qty of HMD’s as some may have opted for more than 1

Yes, just tell him that his headset was shipped already and that it just takes a while because of some external problems, this, that etc. He doesn’t really mind being lied to and actually seems to be totally fine with it and claims he has no rights at all anyway. In fact, better even just don’t send him anything at all.
