I’ve not pre ordered PSVR2 but will wait for it to appear on Amazon. I already have a PS5 and GT7 so only the headset to pay for.

Got my PS5 Horizons bundle and got screwed on the Horizons game. Bought mine on Amazon USA and found out I can’t use the Hoirizons code because of locked regions for the code. Damn Sony!! I wanted the game for VR and now need to buy it because the voucher code doesnt work in my country, that’s just bad. But oh well, other than that everything is fine
Same here, the sony website doesnt accept American Express so I don’t have any other option than to wait. Sony sure makes things difficult for their customers. But yeah, let’s hope Amazon has the VR headset soon.

Yeah I basically wanted the PS5 because of Resident Evil Village (and damn it already looks stunning on my TV!) but Horizons surely was the runner up, looks stunning indeed, looking forward to playing those 2 games.

The VR mod for it, on PC, is pretty great.

Nah I personally can’t stand it because of the cut scenes. Instant puke fest when those appear. I hope that they fixed that in the native version or at least found some way to reduce that nauseating 3rd person effect. But yeah it looks great otherwise though.
Huge fan of the original game. Been waiting for next gen OLED to try the VR versions so keen for your impressions!
Just upgraded from note 9 to the S23 Ultra. Colors and black levels are to die for. 120hz is butter smooth and the brightness 1750 nits. Can’t believe nobody’s jammed one of these panels into a headset!

Nice! Actually I feel some excitement for VR again, haven’t felt that in a while. The PSVR2 seems to be quite good and finally we’ll be getting some titles worth playing!

Digital Foundry had a development team on the other day, by the way, who had updated their older game for the PSVR2, and they swore by the foveated rendering, which gives me hope for that feature for the future. :7
They had also updated their gaze event triggers to take the eyetracking into account, and not just head pose, as well as used it as a guide when grabbing ledges, supplementing the hand tracking…
(EDIT: …but no dynamic depth of field. (EDIT3: Oh, and, uhm - just to be clear: When I write that, I do not mean actual DOF – just a plain bokeh effect, whose focal plane is governed by the user’s convergence (not accomodation)))
