In case you missed the event, here’s the recap for Pimax CES 2026
More content is coming out soon, such as this interview with Josh Edmundson from Channel 199 Simracing:
Return window added to Optical Engine purchases
We’ve seen a lot of questions about why optical engines, purchased separately, do not have a return policy. This is because we always treated optical engines as accessories, similar to DMAS or Lighthouse faceplates. This means there’s no return window, unlike with headsets.
But we do listen to user feedback. This is why we’ll soon add a 7 day return window for the Crystal Super micro-OLED optical engine, meaning that once you receive this optical engine, you have 7 days to try it out. Returns are still possible within this period, but subject to a 10% restocking fee. After these 7 days, you cannot return and refund the optical engine, replacements are only done if there is a technical issue with the headset.
Please note that we’re currently busy shipping the Crystal Super micro-OLED (headsets and separate optical engines) to users, and that we intend to have separate optical engines back in stock in March.
Shipment Update
The Crystal Super micro-OLED has started shipping for weeks now, with more batches are being allocated to local warehouses.
If you haven’t received a shipping address confirmation email yet, please rest assured it will be sent shortly.
Our production plan is currently underway. We are manufacturing headsets to fulfill all pre-orders placed before January 9, 2026. Production began on January 12, with a factory target completion date of January 30.
Throughout this process, we will continue allocating inventory to local warehouses and shipping orders to customers as units are released.
The Dream Air has shipped to several external beta users, with normal customers receiving theirs soon. Please tune into our YouTube channel this week for an update on the headset’s FOV.
