PiPlay what is it for?

What is PiPlay for if we have the games tab in pitool? Does anyone use PiPlay? What are your thoughts?

AFAIK PiPlay was designed for Pimax 4K, and PiTool for 5K+/8K (a.k.a. “8K series”).

I wonder if they are planning there own ecosystem independent of steam and oculus?

Piplay is for pimax 4k only do not use on 5k+ or 8k.
