Your multigpu system, is ithe weaker GPU onboard the motherboard?

You may need to disable it or maybe ensuring in your bios that the first GPU is reading the pciX slot and not defaulting to onboard.

If it is 2 discrete GPU cards. Ensure the stronger GPU is in PciX 16 first slot closest to the cpu.

Yes I did exactly that.

  • Disabled the iGPU
  • Main GPU RX 9700XT PCIe Gen 5 is closest to CPU, next is RX 6800 PCIe Gen 4 in further slot.

Problem still exist

  • PimaxPlay only detect headset once the DP port connected to weaker one.

  • Once try to connect to the main GPU, app can’t detect the headset with following error

Regarding to my recent conversation with a guy on Pimax user’s FB page, he said Pimax is struggling to coop with AMD to fix this issue. The current solution Pimax gave to him was just downgrade to some PimaxPlay older version (not sure which one).

You may want to roll back to an earlier driver version, as this should resolve the issue.

Well Amd unfortunately often has some driver issues. I am not sure which driver version but do recall there was a recommended Adrenaline Driver version due to Amd driver compatibility issues.

Users are also experiencing some issues with new Nvidia cards primarily on the the 8kX, however a Nvidia bug has also on the Crystal series removed support for Smart smoothing.

Both Amd & Nvidia have been slow to resolve some of the curre t bugs

Do You have another DP Monitor connected to your Main Card?
I found that My Crystal Light doesn’t like to have another DP port used.
I believe it may have to do with the Crystal Light actually uses 2 DP connections,
One for each lens.
Try hooking up Only the Crystal to the Card you want to use it on?
Just a thought.

It might also be caused by bandwidth limits. Using two DPs can work, but you may need to reduce the monitor’s resolution and refresh rate.
