Excellent news pre-orders are open, well done Pimax team! Given my last (very bad) international ordering experience for the 4k from GearBest, no way I’m doing that again - but I’ll be first in line to buy one when a UK distributor is announced - Amazon for instance - any ideas when that will be?

I wouldn’t be surprised if there was no sales tax on these either given they are coming from China.
The lighthouses are in a kit with controllers. So not seperately.
In that case Pimax should sell a bundle with 2 lighthouses and a Pimax ball-point pen 
For those thinking of ordering from outside the EU - please please do your homework on taxes and returns before you buy! Do some searches on this forum.

I believe there is a very broad “consumer technology” tarrif. Either way I don’t want a surprise +$100 bill, so I’ll pass for now.
How would a surprise $100 bill arrive? Either they collect it at purchase or you aren’t going to pay it.
Maaaan 800$ for the 5k+ this is way too much…!
I don’t think so - the nearest competitor is the Vive Pro, which is the same price, and doesn’t come close to the Pimax. The first next-gen VR headset should most definitely be higher priced than the first-gen ones.
Edit: it’s only $700, not $800. Unless it changed since someone’s screenshot above?

Since the website is down, the price is just for the headset, right? Those prices don’t include lighthouses or controllers?
