I think we are going to have to wait until reviewers receive it until we can make a decision as it doesnât seen like it was ready for prime time before.
I donât think there is any risk as @deletedpimaxrep1 said that people could change their minds even after receiving 8k or 5k+.
We need to know the following.
- What is refresh rate?
- What is subpixel pattern?
- How does SDE compare to 5k+, Vive Pro?
- Has ghosting issue been eliminated?
- Will Brainwarp work with this headset (assuming it ever works at all as we have precious little from @deletedpimaxrep1 or @PimaxVR about this despite many of asking many times)

Any word on when the 8K x will go live for preorder?
I remember reading somewhere that there would be an option to buy Vive controllers and base stations from Pimax, is that going to be a thing?
Really looking forward to getting one of these headsets.
So itâs $1200 for the 5K+ full package?
Seems shipping is $69. That on top of the 25% tarrif in the US, and I donât think I can preorder anymore. $850 for a 5k+ is way too much for me.

Seems to be inbuilt into their system. The much cheaper Australian 10% gst/tarrif is added on top.

Looks like you might sell 1 base station with 2 controllers? I hope you as that is ideal for me, no one has offered this and its the most used case in VR esktop usage as you only need 2 for 360 degree, most people donât do stand up/RL turning VR, thank you in advance for this optoin.
As far as I know there is no tarrif on VR devices as of yet for imports into the U.S. although not 100% certain maybe someone can confirm?
If Pentile same sde as deepoon e3 & pimax BE so not even going to be close to vive pro @Sjef has both vive pro & Deepoon e3.
