I’ve just downloaded 1.44.2 and noticed the individual program settings (Le Mans Ultimate) is not saving my desired render resolution.
I have enabled Program setting for Le Mans Ultimate then changed the resolution down to 0.63 and saved. It confirms the save but when I exit and then re enter the program settings it shows it being back to 1.0
The common settings does save the correct render resolution.
Are you launching the game from the asset tab in Pimax Play? I heard that you need to do that vs clicking on a desktop icon and launching it normal. There’s a common game setting and an individual game setting and if you adjust the individual game setting then you’re supposed to launch the game via the asset tab apparently.
I had the same problems after a clean install of windows. It has been solved by Pimax letting me have access to the newest version af Pimax Play 2.0. However that created another issue when using OpenXR toolkit. That was solved when Pimax sent me C:\Program Files\Pimax\Runtime\PiOpenXR_64.dll from the 1.44.2 version and I had to replace that in 2.0. Since that I have no issues with bugs/crashes regarding the OpenXR toolkit and all my per game settings are saved correctly.
As of now, these are the list of Pimax software that’s sitting on my computer.
pvr_steamvr_driver version 0.1
PimaxPlay ver 1.44.2.283
PiService version 2.0
pvr runtime version 0.1
PVR Home version 0.1
pvr oc support version 0.1
DeviceSetting
Why are there so many software to run just one device? (Crystal OG in my case) Are all these necessary? The names of each software, as well as the developer’s name are so inconsistent that they look like malware to my eyes, especially ones that are vague like “DeviceSetting.” I’d appreciate if Pimax could at least sign their software with their proper name, rather than spelling it inconsistently.
