Pimax play 1.43.1 - Quad views issue

I never had problems with quad views before (mbucchias version), and lately I was using pimax play QV without issues too. Yesterday I bought some new games, and now some serious issues with pimax QV become visible:

  1. the QV areas are too low. I recalibrate eye tracking, reseat my HMD, but it´s not helping. The only help should be adding vertical correction of QV in pimax play.
  2. the horizontal position of QV areas are also wrong! I never saw it before in DCS, but now in another games (i.E. Riven) I see it all the time. The left and right edges of QV rectangles are misaligned a lot. Playing like that I feel disconnected with VR world, and soon with headache.
    I understand that foveated area depend where I look (to infinity, distant, or near), but this is wrong for me in all cases.
    The 2 solutions for this would be
    a) horizontal correction of QV areas, and
    b) soft transition from foveated areas to big views (as in Tally_Mouse app).

Let me forward this to the dev team. Besides Riven, have you encountered a similar issue with any other games when QV is enabled?

Hi, yes, I remember same issue with some other games, all with QV working. In River is just easier to see it (maybe because of lightning, I do not know for sure), and the QV box edges are really visible there all the time.
Please give us control of QV same as with TallyMouses app (vertikal correction,foveated box edges transition) + add horisontal correction too. Thank you.

PS: I saw on Pimax discord note from other users that QV boxes are too low.

I’ll ask the dev team to test this game and investigate what’s causing the incorrect QV rendering.
