Pimax, it's time to ship ALL remaining backers base stations

The bizarre thing is, that some will tell you that if they say they will sort it out soon, or ship within 3-5 days, it is just the Chinese way of telling you “sorry, I can’t do it at the moment, no idea when it will be possible again”.

Fine (actually, no, not fine, but that’s not my point here) - but then another Pimax official drops the bomb and says that they shipped 436 sets just last week.

Problem is, no matter which version you believe, both of them lead to quite unsettling conclusions with respect to the chances of seeing Pimax fulfil its obligations towards you in foreseeable time.

Pimaxquorra reacted to this thread by PM (don’t know why he didn’t post here directly).

Surprisingly he was not aware of the existence of the google spreadsheet and promised to forward it to Pimax logisitic team to help resolve all the pending base station shipments.

So best advice is you should try to keep your own status updated in the above google sheet as it could help solving your case (thanks to everyone who posted about their status here or by PM, I will update the list in the first post accordingly but don’t forget to update the google sheet yourself).

Pimaxquorra will also ask the logisitc team to “explain him what is going on with all those backers base stations”. He told me the only information he has now from the logisitic team is “most of the parcel has been stucked at Shanghai airport and awaiting for the transit to their corresponding destination”.

And a confirmation from pimaxquorra: “Currently, all these base station deliveries are originated from HongKong warehouse.”

To everyone: please try to keep the discussion focused on updating your shipment status: if you have a tracking number or still waiting for it, if you have unanswered questions from your base station ticket or with Doris or any Pimax staff managing your shipment, if you have received your base stations, etc. This should help avoiding the thread being locked as happened with the previous base station thread. Thank you.

@MaxMan23 in case this info was not forwarded to you, Pimaxquorra has checked your tracking number and your package is still located at the airport. He told me he has reported this to the logistic team and “they will figure out the solution with the courier service provider”.

I’ll add my 2cents here… I ordered 27th April, 2020, and “finally” received tracking information on May 18th. However, package didn’t arrive at DHL until May 28th. It was held at the airport or wherever in Hong Kong until yesterday (June 3rd). It is now tracking that it is in the USA… Hopefully should get it in 3 days or so.

IMPORTANT

To everyone still waiting for his tracking number:

I was answering to Pimax quorra to ask him if he could check if he could find a tracking number for me, I copy/pasted my KS order page link to help him check, and guess what…

There was a tracking number at the top of the KS order page…
Checking it with 17track website informs me this number exists since May 20th…
This is 7 days after last message received from Doris to tell me I will receive a tracking number once shipment is done (free shipping option)

So since that day I have a tracking number, maybe even the package has been shipped already (17track doesn’t tell me the current location), but Pimax never informed me of the shipment (nor the tracking number of course) and instead just ignores my enquiries to get updates…

So how many of you waiting to receive a tracking number are in the same situation, with a package shipped but Pimax didn’t inform you ?

So Check your KS order page !

Edit. Ok, I can see the tracking number for my accessories order. On the old system. @jaysm

Edit2 ok the old support system login info works on the new support system, but doesn’t work for the main pimaxcom page.

@neelrocker Thank you for the efforts to keep this subject alive.

I have still no information about my single basestation. Ticket number is still missing and the latest response is from PimaxQuorra 5 days ago: “We shall ask Emily for more information.”

Btw, I also can’t see the KS order page.

Just try to be patient as tbh I wouldn’t want to be those in the middle trying to get these issues sorted. I do know both @PimaxQuorra and Emily are working hard to get this resolved.

If you had received the mail from Doris announcing the base stations shipments options (received it on April 24th) you can access to the KS order page by clicking the top left button written in chinese in this mail.

I can see both orders, the KS order for the basestation and the accessories, no tracking info.
The pdfs of the orders but no Shipping Vendor line for either of them

I was able to log in, and my 8K-X order showed up as OUT 小派集团 (translating as: small faction group / small school group / Xiaopai Group)
I’m not sure what this means.

I don’t know if it includes base stations.

Thanks, didn’t even aware tracking number is there in the order page, I was only aware of my tracking number only because fedex sent me a txt message informing the delivery date (which it missed lol) that contained the tracking number.

Thanks for the info and this should be great help to ppl still waiting on tracking numbers.

Only if pimax could just remind us the tracking number could be present in the order page that would calm a lot people down.

Maybe pimax could improve on this for the future delivery. I think people lost patience partly because it wasnt done in a more usual way we custom to, such as receiving email right after shipping and tracking number.

Just updated.
Only recently did I know to have to follow up with Pimax to get my stuff shipped like I asked for months ago. But here I am.
Been trying to email support to get them to send stuff, so not sure where I’m up to at the moment.

Is it the same date?

I just checked my order page and there was a FedEx tracking number.

Ordered plan F on 27th of April 2020
Shipped with tracking number from China 03rd of June 2020

I have told Doris a few days ago I want my kit from Marseilles and not from China !

no email, dont know anything about a ks sales page. only have the 8kx upgrade one

The date is different. My 8kx is a pre-order not early bird.

Does your sales note show the date when you purchased your unit? I’m wondering if it’s not shipped, but just a slip to put me in the purchase queue
