I will keep my cpu for now because it really performs well even with Elite (thanks to brainwarp). With contractors I even stay above 80fps, although I have set maximum details and (pitool=1/steamSS=50%). But maybe a new cpu would give me a distinct performance boost. All a question of moneyā€¦
But as soon as I have a new cpu, I will give feedback :slight_smile:

In Alien there is a setting under ā€œmotherVRā€, with which you can adjust the pixel density. Maybe the default value was low. I think it was added in a later version, but I canā€™t remember exactly.

Have to check that out in Alien Isolation. Need to update MotherVR. As if mem serves think still on 0.8? Havenā€™t upgraded it yet.

But I hear you with budgeting. Atm my pc budget is low. Though with all the extra parts/pcs around here could likely sell stuff. Plus with what you have atm if not upgrading to an i7 3series cpu means a bigger expense to fully upgrade to something current.

Only other potential cheap minor upgrade would be to see about looking for something like an i7 4770 or i7 4790 cpu/motherboard used deal. Granted this would still be a powerful upgrade to what you have & still comparable to some newer offerings.

Use 0.0.6 with xbox controllers.

  • DonĀ“t try to avoid the intro videos
  • The menu will instantly appear after them.
  • Let the diaper box nearby.

Just beated the game again on Reverb. Worked 99% ! (use LB+RB to recenter).

It might have been the version you mentioned. Isnā€™t there a newer version than the 0.8 then?

I know there was supposed to be a newer one that fixed issues in 0.8 & was supposed to add some more in game vr options.

0.0.8 added the motion controller support and SS BUT it is very buggy.

So much that i rolled back to 0.0.6

Version 1.0 was supposed to be launched last year, but so farā€¦

Too bad though a new version not released itā€™s a great game with VR mod.

Team is hard at work on all the data. These items ship to over 50 countries so there are a fair amount of mechanics to work out. We have some dramatically upgraded the logistic methods ready now for the US, Canada and Europe but some places areā€¦ more problematic.

The list of topics for Pimax Day PT 2 is as long as PT 1 and a lot of the items require a special web page behind them for usage.

Do you plan to send them (Perhaps @SweViver has already one) Pimax 8k+ M4 (final release) as soon as you have the new production in order to make new videos before Pimax day 2 ?

@PimaxUSA please i have three questions

  1. Are you thinking to add 5K+ at ā€œvision clubā€ ? Considering it has already a rgb panel, new housing, new (advanced) calibration, 120 hz i think you might rethink the marketing plan for 5K+

  2. The calibration ā€œmachineā€ is very interesting. Is the first batch of Pimax 8K+ calibrated with the help of this new ā€œmachineā€ ?

  3. There are some backers waiting to fix for cracks their Pimax 5k+/8k . I would like to know if their headsets will be recalibrated
