Does Pimax 5K Plus work with Windows Mixed Reality HMD controllers?
I have Samsung Odyssey Plus, and wondering if I can use its controllers with Pimax 5K Plus.
If not, I would like to order “Pimax Base Station and Wireless Controllers with Thumbstick or Trackpad”.
Will this controller also take long time to ship like the actual Pimax headsets??

i don’t know if WMR controllers work with the 5Kplus due to that WMR use inside out tracking cameras that the 5k plus doesn’t have i wonder if the leap motion module will be compatible with WMR controllers. To answer your second question is your Pimax 5k plus will be shipped with just the headset for now, controllers aren’t in production as of yet and base stations are limited stock. so it’s either get the hmd and wait for base stations / controllers or buy vive wands and base stations since they are compatible. (side note oculus rift controllers / camera does not work with pimax) have a good day!
I see. I really would like my next controller to be the Grip(Knuckle) type controllers. Hopefully Pimax gets their production rate up… geees… waiting for my headset for a month now…
I just hope they rethink their design a bit and consider a trackpad + thumbstick version like WMR or the recent knuckles instead of one or the other. This way they could focus on ONE design and make it a seller. More variants will also introduce more issues.
WmR controllers require camera’s in the headset to track.
I still like the one dev hear whom said the track slot was not good.
