So, my issue is ever since i updated my wife’s GPU from a 2080 to a 9070XT.
i cant get her pimax 5K plus(both of them or super) to boot in ANYTHING other than 90hz mode.
it was fine with my 2080 in it, but if i chose any other format like 64, 72, 120 or 144hz.
it results in the headset staying black.
I’ve tried multiple things already.
DDU, debloated AMD driver and normal(old driver and newest).
I tried searching online with no avail.
her specs:
CPU: Intel Core i9-10900K
MB: ASUS ROG Maximus XIII Hero
Ram: G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 4266
OS: W11 Pro 25H2
GPU: XFX Mercury AMD Radeon RX 9070XT OC Magnetic Air Edition
Want to get her headset back in 120hz, set it to medium FOV and be done with it.
not sure what the issue anymore is(as i tried ALL DP ports, and 3 different cables of my three working pimax 5k’s)
on Piplay 1.43.9 (tried newer like 2.0.4 and older)
1.43.9 has always been the best for 5K series headsets so far.
