Heads up for anyone needing optical inserts and considering the Pimax Crystal Super 50PPD Ultra Wide.
In my opinion you won’t be able to benefit from the extra HFOV, so you are better off getting the regular 50 PPD or one of the other options.
I’ve done extensive testing with and without the HONSVR inserts and no matter how close you are to the lenses, the inserts restricts you to 120 degree HFOV.
If any other inserts don’t create this limitation, I would love to hear about it.
