I’m more than ok with 8 testers…LET’S GO PIMAX @deletedpimaxrep1. It’s been 12 days since the 8 were decided. Please just ship to them to get this ball rolling again. This is a painful ride at times, way too slow.

@deletedpimaxrep1, stop buying time already. We all know already that you spread this lie on purpose because lets be honest when the 8k headset will ever be DONE? Next year?! If you got 8 testers just send them already!!! What y’all even doing there at the office?!!
You’ve been told us countless time to have patience, but come on already, you are barely transparent with the updates.
We all getting a little more pissed each day is passing.
Who’s buying time? what are you talking about? They said they will send them when they are ready and nothing has been said to change that? Do you imagine they got the headsets from build and will just send them straight out without doing all necessary in-house tests, calibration, changes?
They said they asked 9, they got 8…thats the end of that matter! You backed a kickstarter, the aim of kickstarter is to help a company create a product that we all want to see and use. But you all seem to want them to rush out untested garbage???

A select group of entitled backers such as yourself are “getting pissed” while anyone with some sense knows there are obviously other issues. Pimax should be more transparent, I 100% agree. Their track record thus far has some major room for improvement but do you really think they have 8 units just sitting around, seriously?
Wait until they make the announcement that the HMD isn’t releasing until Q3 and then Q4 which I (and others) are already preparing for. It doesn’t irk me in the slightest. What’s the other option, send out units with obvious flaws and doom the product from the start? No thanks.

Once again it’s not about rushing anything but giving a plausible time table and transparent updates PIMAX has improve communication a lot with us ( thanks to @deletedpimaxrep1 ) But still they already have a few strikes so some people are becoming anxious.
From my experience of other “good” kickstarter I’ve participated Pimax should considered releasing closes up photo of the M1 headset before sending them to the beta testers.

I’m betting 6 weeks minimum
I have been waiting patiently for the pimax 8k, The length it seems to take to send out 10 units for testing is rather obnoxious. I don’t mind waiting its just the lack of information is whats annoying.
Is it going to take 1week? 4weeks? 2 months? Before testers get the headsets? Its already been a month of hearing about the m1 testers.

I fully agree. First shipment was due for January, then March would be a ‘really important’ month for Pimax with beta testers reviewing and roadshows and now we’re almost in May and the units haven’t been even shipped out to the beta testers. Can we have an update please @deletedpimaxrep1 with explanation what’s happening and why the units are not being shipped out? I’m all in favor of getting it right before shipping them out but at least please keep us in the loop. All these delays become quite frustrating when we don’t even know what’s going on.
