And I hope that the time that the beta testers take to give a return is less than that time of sending the M1, which by the way has not been done yet.

Perhaps it is really an idea to ask Pimax to open a marketplace for sellers and buyers of pledges. It would relieve us from having to read how people feel that Pimax are doing a, b, c to cheat the world while they seem to not have noticed that this is a freaking KS campaign where Pimax just could do a submarine like that (snaps his fingers) and no backer could do anything about it. So many pointless posts accumulate here over the past months…

Why ask for things to be rushed? I’m sure once they got the M1’s built they had to do some testing/tweaking/adjusting themselves in both software and hardware. Maybe there are some issues cropped up to resolve before sending them out. Yet people seem to be imagining the hold up is down to picking people. Its as if you all think they are sat around doing nothing now with a load of M1’s sat in a corner collecting dust?
Have some patience guys! These are not pre-orders, this is a kickstarter you’ve backed. We need this to work and work as well as it possibly can before anyone else gets to try them.

They honestly shouldn’t be overly optimistic on the Launch window considering how their schedules is running.
Do we know they are not shipping until they get two more ?
If that is confirmed then it does indeed sound like a stall tactic, but what can we do. Nothing I will not believe in any shipping promises , ill know when I get a tracking number. Until then I expect nothing regardless of what they say.

No, people seem to be extrapolating that from the Kickstarter post and making things up. Its already been officially said they have invited 9 and got 8 and they will ship them when the M1 units are ready… That is it! nobody is waiting on 2 more people and everyone sat around doing nothing…

Exactly. I can understand the desire to get our 8Ks asap, but would you like a flakey headset sooner or wait a bit longer and get a good headset later? Personally, I prefer to wait, since that will likely get me the best possible headset.

True. We have waited this long. The “I want it now” excitement has sort of worn off in my case… So I dont care to wait. I do like to see things happen though… I am looking forward to see what SweViver and others have to report on the m1

And that’s probably all we’ll see here, until the testers start reporting on the M1. That’s probably at least a couple of weeks from now (shipping time, plus evaluation time and time to do a write up / videos / pictures.
It seems to me that Pimax will still take a couple of weeks to send it.
Well at least, we can now interpolate when the final product will be finished…

I guess we can also imagine how “indiscutable” it would be for the Chinese Goverment if the opening of the VR Expo in Nanchang would be postponed by any means. Therefore, the Pimax HMD must be ready before the Park has to open. And the Park will open this October.

Still, i don’t trust them hundred per cent but do you at least have something to prove it or just suspicions?
i can see October as a dead line,ok, but imagine test units are fine and ready to ship, do you think they are going to hold them till October ???

I would just rather them ship with 8 beta testers.
2 more testers isn’t going to make a world of a difference anyways.
If you need someone else to test send me a unit @deletedpimaxrep1.
I have backed 3 8K headsets and would love to test one for the team.
