Hi everyone, I recently received the Dream Air, and despite searching for various guides and advice, I’m still very unsure about the best settings for the NVIDIA Control Panel.
I’ve seen that just one mistake can drastically impact performance. I’d ask you and Pimax directly if they could provide a list of the best settings, regardless of hardware.
I have a 5090 and a 9950x3D. If anyone has already found the settings and wants to share them, I’d be very grateful.
If you are referring to the Nvidia Experience App or whatever they are calling it now. I don’t bother with it as it has DLL files that make a couple of my games crash on start. The actual control panel that has the cool 3d rotating Nvidia logo is what I use. If you use that, don’t change global settings unless you are sure you want to. You can make modifications for specific games or sims. Or use the let game decide and make changes there.
The experience app can automatically choose the best settings for each game or sim. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or not but from what I’ve read, it gathers recommended hardware settings from the game developer for each game.
You can find game specific settings on youtube as a starting point then make changes as needed. Anything that goes wrong can be undone.
