Massive missed opportunity!

I am struggling to understand why Pimax do not want to show the finished product at VR days??? The date of which coincides with the pre order. I want Pimax to succeed. Imagine trying the Vive and then the Pimax straight after? Open to backers and non backers alike.

This forum put so much pressure on them they won’t take the risk of a shit storm because of traveling instead of shipping new backers HMDs

A couple of people armed with a 5k plus and a laptop wouldn’t slow production would it?? I can’t wait to get my headset as soon as either. Sebastian and sweviver are also onsite and would help I’m sure.

They have 1080 ti laptop?

Hi a 1080 gtx I believe MSI I have seen it on numerous videos

Yes & a 1080 msi laptop is not going to give a great demo on things.

Scotty we need more power.

@yanfeng could give some good info on 1080 use.

An external Graphics Amp would be best with a 1080 ti.

She canna take anymore captain!! Point taken on the 1080 but it would give a better idea than a no show!! I’m sure a 1080 could handle some cool older titles just fine. Sebastian used a 1070 laptop for some time. I just want pimax to do well which brings me back to original point. How about sending it back to Linus tech and his 7.1 million subscribers!!!

Linus did do an interesting piece on a razer tablet with Graphics Amp as an interesting portable gaming.

Now if you want a crazy laptop build there are customizable build orders that sing compared to prebuilt.

1080 can be enough for quite some apps to judge M2: Skyrim, Aerofly FS 2, Virtual Desktop, Elite Dangerous, and Beat Saber!
