i think if you hear closely, you can hear the rumble noises in this video from the yaw 2
I have a feeling its almost the same as the yaw 1(i did have one)

I’m actually thinking maybe i should skip the Yaw Platform for now as its expensive and wait to see if I need it later.
When the Gravity Platform comes out it will be combined with the yaw anyway so I will have more of a choice then, should I decide I want to upgrade.
lol, wait till they hear the buttkicker.
Doesn’t sound that loud to me, but I don’t think I can judge from this.
Man seeing him spin in this video isn’t convincing me that the yaw is worth it for racing. In VR is he even feeling that movement since its dead center and so slow?
I never had yaw 1. How loud was it? Was it good to use in a middle of night or it was too loud?
The vibration was to loud for me in the middle off the night, but you can that off and then its a very silient device… or you turn the vibration realy realy low…
Some chap in another forum who has the yaw (1) said that for racing you don`t really need yaw. However, once he used yaw, he did miss it a bit… but he agreed that it wasn’t nearly as important/immersive as roll & pitch.
It is more important for flights sims, and pretty much essential for a heli flight sim, he said.
On the decision on backing it or not consider that they said that they intend to offer the backers an option to upgrade to the Yaw & G-Module (yaw & heave combined) when sending out the backer survey prior to delivery in September.
And if you skip it, that’s fine, but take into account that the prices might go up if you buy it outside of the Kickstarter context - you could ask them in the comments section if they would allow a later upgrade in said survey at the same price for those who had not backed the Yaw module at all (wouldn’t surprise me if they did, but you better inquire if you wish to rely in it…).
And of course you’d have to pay for shipping too, and perhaps even more than the extra they are charging now (although the shipping in general is quite excessive in price, I was & am hoping that their inquires lead to a cheaper shipping cost at the end)
Man 6 days to decide… and then the 3080Ti is announced… DOH!
