So far thats the pricing we have from gearbest. It makes sense because the P4K is currently $350 (a rip off) and the new set comes with controllers and two screens… I will pay that if it actually works properly but it will be a while before they can prove that

They could have a 2x 2.5k(QHD) prototype on display as well as their 2x 4k LCD

Tons ! Did it have hardware IPD already ? What about the colours ? Brightness ? How was the overlap in FoV between your eyes ? Did the image in general stutter ? What demo did you run ? What did they say about Steam compatability ?

Thanks !! After 3 days of IFA we have seen not a single interesting review, in fact we’ve seen only 1 review at all and the guy said basically just the the SDE was better, LOL. So we’re desperate for some good info ! Thanks ! Oh and like Okok95 just posted: godrays/reflections indeed and info about how well the controllers performed would be awesome indeed too

but just to be clear I was only able to test the 5K OLED version…not the 8K LCD one unfortunately.

If you are going to run a successful kickstarter campaign for your 8k unit, YOU NEED TO DO BETTER THAN SAYING NOTHING ABOUT IT AND SHOWING A 5K MODEL!

  1. If you are going to charge $900.00 for a product I need to see a hands on video with information on binocular overlap, perceived resolution, SDE, response time blur, etc.

  2. SHOW US THROUGH LENS VIDEO so we SEE IT

  3. You guys claimed that you would reveal more information. This doesn’t qualify as information about your 8k unit.

Is your prototype running displayport? Is it running near native resolution?

I do not want your kickstarter to fail. I want one of these units, but you need to actually put information out there.
