Idea of new way to implement Motion Compensation

Hi, I posted this in Pimax Dev discord, but did not get any reply. I hope Pimax staff would comment this.

I’m designing new motion sim rig with 4 vertical actuators (Pitch, Roll, Heave) + Seat Mover + Yaw/Surge platform.
Problem with this is motion compensation ( I’m gointo to buy Crystal Super Micro Oled or Dream Air SLAM version).

Could Pimax make SLAM option that is only tracking certain markers ? My idea is to put markers on to the rig and if HMD is only tracking those markers, that would give automatic motion compensation.
No need for third party software or use motion controller for MC. It’s prone to loose tracking and sensitive for vibrations.

I’m using a DOF Reality P3 with Sim Racing Studio software and I used a WitMotion sensor. This works just perfect with the Crystal Super. This WitMotion sensor might probably work for you as well

Hi, Yes I know Buzz OpenXR-MotionCompensation SW. I have used it long time. Problem with physical tracker is vibration, it’s just not usable if using haptics. WitMotion sensor does not support Heave compensation.
The idea with this, is simplicity and with this way it does not matter what Motion Software you are using. I’m go into to use Qubic and Simhub.
