I made an Interesting VR discovery with Riva Tuner

@Community @Heliosurge @Matthew.Xu The frame rate limiter and scanline sync (with RTSS and MSI Afterburner running together) work while in VR.

I ran my CV1 in New Retro Arcade Neon at a resolution of 3072x1800 epic settings. Ordinarily, this brings my 3gb 1060 to its knees UNLESS I RUN WITH ASW.

With afterburber and RTSS I was able to lock the game FPS to 60hz in RTSS (while I made sure ASW was disabled in debug tool,) and lo and behold, the latency and frame consistency were markedly improved. It was better than ASW 45hz reprojected normally is, and it had the benefit of letting me decide where my machine can actually run comfortably. Scanline sync was also very good at stopping tearing.

If @SweViver can check this out with his 1070 laptop, we could have a very good trick to hold folks over until brain warp is ready.

IF ANYONE HAS PIMAX 4K, please try this on that HMD too. @Enopho, you have one dont you?

Really interesting find, I have no idea how to do what you mention, if you can post pics of what you selected on Riva Tuner I can check it out on my Pimax 8k and test it out.
