How to turn off the vive controller? other than pressing the menu button for a long time.
For htc vive, you can right click the mouse on the controller icon to turn it off, but seems for pimax, this method does not work.

Doesn’t the Vive controller switch off automatically if not in use?

yes, but I want to switch it off when, for instance, watching a movie using big screen, it will not switch off even if you are not touching it in a game. I cannot long press the menu button either, that will bring up the dash broad, to exit it, you have to turn on the controller again…
When headset is Active then only system button 5sec.

That will bring up the dash broad menu, and to exit it you have to turn on the controller again…
Only turned off controllers when i dont have headset on but that i do with system button.

A workaround is to disable SteamVR Dashboard temporary in the SteamVR Settings (as you apparently wont be using it without controllers anyway). Then hold system button on the controller for 3-5 seconds and they will turn off.

Working behind the curtains atm, but back on the channel anytime. Sure, I use to disable Dashboard quite often, especially when doing sims. Give it a go.
