It doesn’t say preorder that I can see. but since they usually ship in a week or so they may have decided to just take the orders and ship as they become available… i dont actually know.

I ordered 1. Can’t order the 2nd one yet as they only gave me 1 of 2 codes as I backed 2 complete packages. So guess I will have to file a support ticket. 🤷
There is a lot of truth in things above. How a company is viewed by the public due to it’s performance and actions can break a company. You can have a great product and have a terrible reputation even if it is the actions of just 1 high level employee or even just a help center employee.
I have had managers that treat employees very poorly. However there public face you’d think the person is wonderful.
If someone has the wrong conclusions you can dispel it with providing facts and actions that prove otherwise.
It seems that they have possibly fixed the can’t order unless stock present. Hence likely why 2 weeks to ship vs 1 week.

What? Why would you be able to use the $100 8K to 5K+ discount on the eye tracker?
I suspect that is actually an error, if not then some of the earlier buyers that weren’t allowed to stack coupons will be a bit miffed
I ordered one too, and indeed I only have one coupon for eye-tracking too although I pledged for a full 8K package plus an 8KX. Let me know how support responds, so I can copy the approach to resolve it.
At this stage I wouldn’t have any need for a second module though, but who knows, would be good to have the option.
And this discussion will of course also become relevant anyhow for the stretchgoal package, i.e. we should receive two silicone sleeves, foams, etc…

Well i was surprised it worked, but it did. I feel it is fair because it was never said at the first time the coupon was restricted.

True, but i ve only seen in this forum that it was restricted. When i opt for the 5k+, there was no conditions. If you think about it, i gave extra money for the 8k, so it is fair that my coupon to downgrade to 5k+ is free to use. It is not a gift, but a kind of refund.
I have sent a ticket to see if they will apply my downgrade and cable coupons to the purchase. But I am not going to hold my breath in anticipation.
Was finally able to pre order the eye tracking unit.
Valve also have stock issues. But instead of this mess up, they just take pre-orders (no payment). Then when it is your turn in the queue they send you a request to pay. Surely that’s not too difficult?? Only difference here is people who supply a valid backer number should be moved to the front of the queue.
Will do. I imagine what has caused the need for manual fixes like this is I backed 2 full packages under 1 account. I hope they have things though in place for those whom backed VR Party Pledges.

I’m surprised to see the downgrade coupon got accepted too. I believe it was reasonable of Pimax to not allow it to be spent on third party items, as they should be allowed to increase value for us while saving some on their own side.
Or make the value differ for third party products.
Now I wonder if I should have used the downgrade coupon I also own for my eye tracker and save my $100 refund coupon for the hand tracker… hmmm or could I order that one with this downtrader too? Brb
I to have backed 2- Pimax HMD’s under 1 account. Have only received 1 eyetracking coupon so far after filing a ticket recieved 2 codes for 2 x 10m cables they stopped developing so that was pretty good service. Thanks to the forum this morning i was also able to order the Eyetracking and apply both coupon and code.
