GrayHorizon: VR mods for Forza Horizon 4, 5 and 6 made w/Pimax Crystal Super

Hi all! I’ve released free VR mods for all three Forza Horizon games. I originally built them for my motion rig: I wanted a stable cockpit camera and the full HUD (minimap, race info, pop-ups) usable in VR, and FH4 had no VR mod at all.

I figured these might be of interest here because I’ve done all testing on the Crystal Super UW and OLED modules. I’m still using Play v1.41.2 for the UW though as it’s the only one that has a usable image. I am quite happy with the way they look on both headsets.

I’ve shared my settings for the two modules on the github page. I am on a 9950X3D/5090 so you may or may not need to adjust them depending on your hardware.

I plan on releasing the source code soon.

• Stereo cockpit view with full head tracking, through OpenXR
• Stable camera: no simulated head bob or g-force lean (great with motion rigs)
• The game’s HUD split into elements you place around the cockpit, per car
• Per-car seat position
• DLSS (FSR in FH4 too), canted per-eye rendering, picture trim, foveated rendering
• A settings app with live performance stats, plus built-in updates

They are free and can be downloaded at GitHub - GrayHorizon-mod/Forza-Horizon-VR: Play Forza Horizon 4/5/6 in VR! Not affiliated with Playground / Turn 10 / Xbox / Microsoft. · GitHub

Feedback and bug reports are very welcome, either here or as an issue on GitHub. Enjoy! :slightly_smiling_face:

This looks good thanks for sharing

So, is the Pimax Play 2.0 build having issues with the UW module?
