I play FS2020 off game pass and Star Wars squadrons off the EA desktop app that came with game pass.
Neither game will work with the 8KX. FS2020 has massive stuttering issues (openXR set to SteamVR) and Star Wars Squadrons has this problem with either double vision or like the part of the image towards the nose is not colored properly.
For the most part SteamVR games work. Is there a way to resolve or do I have to buy the games off Steam?
I play Squardons on my 5K Super through Epic Games store and it works fine. It’s kind of weird because I have to actually start Origin first and then start up the game from there which will start Epic Games. But after that it’s as easy as going into the game settings and toggling VR mode on and then it starts up Steam VR automatically for me and my 5K Super is ready to go.
As for your double image happening on Squadrons, you definitely have to have Parallel Projections enabled for that game or you’ll have that happen.
Also in FS2020 does that stuttering happen even after you leave the game?
